Powerseal Gloss

Powerseal Gloss is a high gloss finish essentially made from non-yellowing and nonsoponifiable alkyd resin, selected light fast pigments and other chemical additives. It combines protection and durability with aesthetic values.

Purpose

It is excellent for both interior and exterior application on cement concrete surfaces particularly for public areas that are susceptible to water and oily stains e.g. kitchen, bathroom, skirting, fascia, doors, windows and wooden frames. It also affords good protection for steel structures such as tanks, silos and plant equipment.

Application

On wooden surface, first prime the surface with Powerseal white undercoats and leave to dry for a period between 6 hours and 24 hours before applying top coat with Powerseal Gloss.

On steel surfaces, brazen the surface with sand paper and remove all rusts and dusts before applying first coat with Powerseal Red oxide primer and leave for a period between 6 hours and 24 hours to dry properly. Then apply the Powerseal Gloss as top coat. Application is done by using brush or spraying equipment. If it becomes necessary for thinning, use turpentine to dilute and remove surplus material from brush with turpentine.
